The marathon will start at 7 a.m. around Main and First Streets in downtown Belleville, and course support will be available until 2 p.m. The course includes a portion of America’s longest Main Street, among other streets, and a paved trail.
Late Packet Pickup and Registration
Packet pickup and on-site race-day registration will be available near the start/finish line around south 1st and Main streets from 5:30 to 6:30 a.m. on race morning.
Water and lemon-lime Gatorade will be available approximately every mile. Water, including from an Illinois-American portable water trailer, and Gatorade also will be available at the start/finish line.
Porta-potties/restrooms will be located at the start/finish line area and near all water stations.
GU stations will be located at miles 12, 18, and 23.
Medical officials are prepared to treat injuries that may occur during this event. Medical tents will be located at the start/finish line area and various points on the course. In addition, medical personnel will be located throughout the course.
All participants/volunteers/spectators are strongly encouraged to park in the FREE St. Clair County parking garage, located at 1 Lincoln Street and conveniently very close to the start/finish line. The garage will be monitored periodically by race officials.
All race finishers will receive a medal. Trophies will be awarded to the overall 3 top male and female finishers, overall male and female Master’s finishers, and overall male and female wheelchair finishers. Awards also will be presented to the top 3 finishers in age groups.
The Streaker Award
Make the Belleville Main Street Marathon a tradition! All finishers who run the Belleville Marathon for consecutive years will be recognized with our commemorative Streaker Award. You must be fully clothed to receive this honor, which will be presented at the awards ceremony (must be present to receive award).
After the race, stop by the Finish Line Food area to sample delicious offerings graciously donated by local restaurants and businesses.
